As spokeswoman for 18th-century Countess Anna, who wrote these precious memoirs, I am thrilled to announce that the book has won a 2021 IPPY (Independent Publishers) award in Nonfiction: European History. I have done the editing to render it enjoyably readable and am now recording the audio book. I regularly consult with John Stelnicki, my friend and Countess Anna's direct descendant. He discovered the diary over 65 years ago, when he and his grandparents translate it into English.
